Victorian women wore handcrafted cotton frock coats or leather coats. They appeared to be largely dressed in black or brown coats. Women did not wear coats or jackets at the start of the trend, but as time went, they felt the need to wear a coat or a leather jacket to look more beautiful. The coat was made of leather and used to be black or brown in hue.
