After Queen Victoria’s death, steampunk emerged. The dresses were knee-length rather than floor-length. A corset was used as traditional clothing. The corset had a V-shaped neckline and no sleeves. A blouse was once considered a must-have item. No steampunk ensemble would be complete without it. To dress steampunk, ladies first put on a classic historical clothing, which included a corset, a vest, a top hat, an overcoat, and a leather belt. They then added leather straps, gloves, buckles, goggles, and other accessories to complete their look. The blouse used to have long sleeves. They wore a medium-length skirt for the bottom style. So, underneath the skirt, they donned trousers to hide their legs. Later, they felt the need for a belt to make the outfit even more stunning. To complete the look, Victorian women wore a top hat as a headpiece and leather boots on their legs. Some of the Victorians appeared to be carrying an umbrella and wearing glasses and a top hat. The top hat was made with lace and various motifs.
